About us

Our dog sanctuary was founded by Pia and her son Aiden, a Norwegian mother and son who moved to Spain with a simple mission: to help dogs in need. Inspired by their love for animals and a desire to give vulnerable dogs a better life, they chose to start a new chapter in the beautiful mountains near Granada.

Surrounded by nature, the sanctuary provides a peaceful and safe environment where dogs can heal, play, and simply be dogs again. What began as a small family effort has grown into a loving home for around 25 dogs, each with their own story and personality.

At the sanctuary, every dog receives care, attention, and the chance to live freely while waiting for their forever home. Pia and Aiden believe that every dog deserves kindness, safety, and a second chance—and their sanctuary is built on that belief every single day.

Donate

Donations help us provide food, veterinary care, and a safe home for the dogs at the sanctuary. Whether you donate dog food or contribute financially, every little bit helps us care for the dogs who rely on us.

Volunteer

Volunteers make a big difference at the sanctuary, whether spending time with the dogs, helping with daily tasks, or supporting events. While we don’t have space to host volunteers, there is a beautiful spot where you can park a campervan.

Adopt

Adopting a dog gives them the loving forever home they deserve. When you adopt from our sanctuary, you’re not only changing one dog’s life - you’re also making space for us to rescue another in need.

Wohnmobil

Transport

If you are travelling, you may be able to help a dog reach their new home. Sometimes adopters live far away, and volunteer transport makes these happy endings possible.

Foster

Fostering gives a dog a temporary home while they wait to be adopted. It helps them adjust to life in a home environment and gives them extra love and attention during the transition.

Share

Sharing our dogs and our work on social media (like Instagram) helps more people discover the sanctuary. The more people who see our posts, the better the chances our dogs have of finding homes.
